Tänään siis taas vietettiin päivä yliopistolla. Kuuntelimme luentoa potilasohjeista ja sitten iltapäivällä oli esitys Tuhkimosta: "When Cinderella goes to the Ball... who should be driving the coach?" (=kun Tuhkimo menee tanssiaisiin, kenen pitäisi olla ajurina). Vähän jäi epäselväksi luennon lopullinen tarkoitus, mutta siellä käsiteltiin genetiikan tärkeyttä ja siitä, kenen vastuulla pitäisi olla tiedon levittäminen ja sitten meille esiteltiin Sigma Theta Tau International -järjestö. Välillä vastasimme erilaisiin kysymyksiin oman mielipiteemme mukaan "äänestyskapulan" avulla. Susanna yritti piirtää tiikeriä ja Hanna opetella pelaamaan Miinaharavaa.
Palattuamme Treforestista (missä yliopisto siis sijaitsee) menimme käymään Tescossa ja kukin löysi itselleen kengät.
Illalla varasimmekin sitten lennon, hotellin ja lauttamatkan muutaman viikon päähän Irlannin reissua varten. En malta odottaa!

We spent the day at the university again. We listened through a lecture of patient instruction and then they had a presentation in the afternoon about Cinderella: "When Cinderella goes to the Ball... who should be driving the coach?" It remained slightly unclear what was the main purpose of it all, but they discussed the importance of genetics and who should be in charge of spreading knowledge and they also introduced an organisation called Sigma Theta Tau International. Occasionally we had to answer some questions based on our personal opinion with a "voting remote". Susanna tried to draw a tiger and Hanna tried to learn to play Minesweeper.
Once we returned from Treforest (where the university is located) we went to Tesco and each of us found themselves new shoes.
In the evening we ended up booking the flight, the hotel and the ferry for our trip to Ireland in a couple of weeks. Can't wait!
Tämän päivän lounas yliopiston kahvilassa. Piri piri chicken wrap oli Susannan mielestä tulista, Hannan mielestä mausteista, minun mielestäni kananmakuista. //
Today's lunch at the university cafe. Piri piri chicken wrap was hot in Susanna's opinion, Hanna thought is was spicy and to me it tasted like chicken.
Ilmaista teetä (juon omani melko vahvana) ja keksejä ennen Tuhkimo-esitelmää + äänetyskapula. //
Free tea (I like mine strong) and biscuits before the Cinderella presentation + the voting remote.
