Suihkutin yläluokan ötökkämyrkyllä pääsiäisloman aikana ja tuloksia alkoi tänään näkyä. Jee, jee! Eläköön Baygon! / I sprayed the upper classroom with bug repellent during the Easter holidays and today we had some results. Oh yeah! Go Baygon!
Lisäksi näin ensimmäistä kertaa paikallisen "tukkee"-liskon. Se piti viime yönä kauheaa meteliä ja tänään se löytyi koulun seinältä jäähdyttelemässä itseään. Mulle kerrottiin, että ahdistettuna ne voivat tarrautua ihoon niin tiukasti, että se tietää sairaalareissua, jos sen haluaa irti. Tämä yksilö oli ehkä noin 25 cm pitkä. / I also saw my first local tokay gecko. It was causing terrible noise last night and today we found it on the school wall cooling itself. I was told that if harassed they can attach to your skin so tightly it's a definite stop by the hospital if you want it off. The one in question was about 25 cm long.
