Ai, että elämä on ihanaa. Netti ei pelaa tänään ollenkaan. Saa nähdä pystynkö julkaisemaan tätä viestiä. Yhteys toimii 10 sekuntia ja sitten se on toimimatta 10 sekuntia ja sitten se jälleen toimii 10 sekuntia ja niin edelleen... Kuumuus kyllä jatkuu. Virpi-Marian mukaan eilen oli ollut +37 Celcius-astetta. Ilmastointi on säädettynä 27 asteeseen, että olisi "ihanan viileää" ja voisi jotain kyetä tekemäänkin - muutenkin kuin makaamaan puolikuolleena sängyllä.
Kävimme Elinan kanssa Salween Riverissä syömässä Khao Soyta. 40 bahtia ja varmasti Thaimaan (siten myös koko maailman) parasta Khao Soyta!!! Tilasin siitä sitten lopuksi vielä pizzan kotiin, kun huomisen aikataulu on vielä hieman hakusessa tuon päivällisen osalta. No, eilen heillä ei ollut pizzapohjia mitä tänään kyllä löytyi, mutta sain pizzani lautasella 50 bathin takuusummaa vastaan sillä tänään ei ollut laatikoita, joihin pizzan laittaa. Saan kyllä rahani takaisin, kun palautan lautasen.
No ruoan valmistumisessakin kului melko kauan, joten ajattelimme siinä välissä käydä 7-Elevenissä (jotka täällä Thaimaassa ovat auki 24/7). Kävelimme siis ulos kaupasta maksamatta edes Khao Soysta, jonka jo olimme syöneet. Ainoa takuu heillä oli meidän paluustamme se, että sanoimme tulevamme takaisin. Meillä meni "ostosreissulla" varmaan helposti 20 min. Ruoat olivatkin valmiina, kun palasimme ja maksoimme ja lähdimme. Sanuk, sanuk...
Valitettavasti on tullut myös turvallisuusvaroituksia poliisin taholta. Verhot täytyy pitää kiinni, ovissa tuplalukot, valoja päällä, että näyttää siltä kuin asunnossa oikeasti asuttaisiinkin. Täällä kävi yksi ilta joku kokeilemassa tämän luokkahuoneen ovea joskus klo 23 aikaan, kun olin vielä täällä. Kukaan tällä hoopakilla asuva se ei ollut. Mene ja tiedä... Joten turvallisuusasioissa saa muistaa. Muuten täällä menee tosi hyvin!
Ah, the life is so great. The internet is not working at all today. Let's see if I cab publish this message. The connection works for 10 seconds then it doesn't for then seconds and then it does again for 10 seconds and so on... The heat's still here. It was +37 degrees Celcius yesterday according to Virpi-Maria. The air/con is set on 27 degrees so it would be "nice and cool" and so it is possible to do somethin - other than lie half-dead on the bed.
We went to Salween River to have Khao Soy with Elina. 40 baht and definitely the best Khao Soy in Thailand (and so the whole world)!!! I ordered also a take-away pizza for tomorrow's schedule is bit unclear concerning the dinner. We yesterday they didn't have pizza bases which they did today but no pizza boxes. I got my pizza on a regular plate for 50 baht deposit which I'll get back once I return the plate.
It took quite long for the food to be ready so we thought that meanwhile we could walk down to 7-Eleven (which here in Thailand are all open 24/7). We walked out of the restaurant without paying even for the Khao Soy we had already eaten. The only guarantee they had for us returning was that we said we would. It took about 20 minutes easily for us to do our "shopping". The food was ready when we returned. We paid and left. Sanuk, sanuk...
Unfortunately we've also had security warnings from the police. The cutrains must be drawn, the doors double-locked and some lights ought to be switched on so that it looks like there's really someone living in the apartment. The other night someone tried the door leading to this classroom where this, "my" computer, is while I was still here sometime around 11pm. It was no one from this horpak. Who knows... So it would be appreciated if you remembered me with all these security issues. Otherwise things are real great!
