Thailand - day 38 (CA)

Heräsin ensimmäisenä, mikä oli ihan kiva ottaen huomioon sänkyni avoimen sijainnin. Sain rauhassa tehtyä aamutoimeni ja puettua päälleni ennen kuin muut heräsivät. Lähdimme klo 11 aikaan rannalle. Tiesinhän minä jo etukäteenkin, mitä tuleman pitää, mutta ajattelin, että antaa palaa. Laitoin kyllä aurinkorasvaa, mutta... En ehkä ihan näin pahasti kyllä ajatellut. Illalla muut lähtivät hierontaan. Minun jalkapöytänikin ovat niin arat, etten pystynyt edes jalkahierontaan lähtemään. Jäin siis tunniksi voitelemaan itseäni After Sunilla.
Lähdin sitten tuntia myöhemmin hierontapaikkaan muita vastaan. Kokeilimme Emman kanssa hyvin vuoksi muutamia aurinkolaseja: Ray-Ban, Levi’s, Gucci, Dior... ja kaikki alle 200 bahtia. Melkoinen tarjous, jonka jätimme kuitenkin käyttämättä. Tori, johon suuntasimme seuraavaksi, oli pienempi kuin eilen, jolloin vain ajoimme nopeasti sen ohi. Jukka ja Joni ostivat melko tyylikkäät bokserit.
”Thaimaan parhaat purilaiset” –mainoskyltin alla oleva ravintola, johon oli tarkoitus mennä illalliselle juhlikin pomonsa syntymäpäivää, eikä heillä ollut tarjolla muuta kuin juomia ja live-esiintyjä. Jätimme live-musiikinkin väliin, vaikka hän juuri aloitti Lou Began Mambo no. 5:sta, ja menimme taas eiliseen, tuttuun ravintolaan huoneistohotellimme viereen.

I was the first to wake up which was nice considering the open location of my bed. I got to take my time brushing my teeth and getting dressed before the others woke up. Around 11am we left for the beach. I already knew beforehand what was going to happen but I thought to just let it. I did put on sun screen but… I wasn’t prepared to burn this badly though. In the evening the others left for a massage. Even my feet are so sore that I couldn’t even go to a foot massage. So I stayed behind for an hour adding After Sun all over myself.
Then one hour later I left for the massage parlour to meet the others. We tried on some sunglasses with Emma: Ray-Ban, Levi’s, Gucci, Dior… and all less than 200 baht. Quite an offer but which we didn’t take. The marker place where we headed next was smaller than it had been the day before when we just quickly drove past it. Jukka and Joni bought rather classy undergarments. We had a plan to go to the restaurant below the sign stating “Thailand’s best burgers” but they had their bosses birthday part there and served only drinks and there was also a live performer. We skipped the live music, even though he just started Mambo no. 5 by Lou Bega, and went to the restaurant by the condotel like yesterday.

Suomalaiset tulee rannalle ja piiloutuu telttaan.

Rannalla oli porukkaa: thailaisia vaatteet päällä,
turisteja pienissä uima-asuissaan ja hevosia. Aurinko
valitettavasti meni pilveen iltapäivää kohden.
