Thailand - day 14 (CM)

Me saimme tosin sitten syödä klo 14 asti.

The morning began with waking up and breakfast. The morning devotions was led by Henry and he made us sing for almost an hour. Today the Finland-days hosted a Thai lecturer, Pastor Sidney. He taught and spoke to us for the whole day. During the morning coffee break some child had gone berserk on my notes and smudged all over my notes with a pencil. Such lovely brats here… Sidney’s next part just went on and on and we started lunch only at 1:10pm instead of 12:30pm. Pastor was fasting himself and planning to do so for a couple of weeks so he didn’t mind. We did get to eat until 2pm though. I was afraid of a migraine for low bloog-sugar but luckily it was just ticking in my head for a while and then it passed.
I should buy some credit/airtime for my phone for it’s Valentine’s day tomorrow and I would like to send some sms’s at least. It’s probably that I will forget in which case I am terribly sorry. I’m so busy all the time that I can’t possibly remember or have time to do everything I should.
In the evening pastor Sidney was again in charge. In the end of the meeting he walked through the whole conference room and stopped by each of us and prayed for us. If we had something special, we were allowed to express that before he started. Otherwise he would just pray for whatever came to mind. I was thinking about two things but when he stopped by me I didn’t consider them important enough. But obviously God only knew how badly I needed to hear those unimportant things tonight. He’s so amazing! People, who know me, know that I am not easily manipulated or “brainwashed”. I had not said a work to pastor Sidney during the whole day. So in the evening I had thought about two things and the pastor prayed for exactly those two things. Incredible. It’s good for me to remember that God is close to me all the time. He knows how much baby-sitting I need. And I know I will hear that song in the morning.
